Honda cbr 150r 2012

In delhi auto expo 2012 every one was surprised and that came from Honda. As Honda unevilied there 7 new models in expo but the most surprised one was Honda cbr150r as no one expected. Many Indian bike lovers were waiting for Honda to launch this one for a long time but now it is launched. As every one expected Honda to launch cbr 150r last year but they came with cbr 250r which got a great response from bike lovers but this time with no rumours they launched cbr 150r with a great a surprise to all.

As Honda cbr 150r has a 149.4cc, 4-stroke and liquid cooled DOHC engine which produces 18bhp power @ 10500rpm and peak torque of 12.6Nm @ 7500rpm. It has advanced PGM-Fi and O2 sensor which increases the performance of the bike. It has got wide tubeless tyres front(100/80-17) and rear(130/70-17) and have disc brakes on both front(276mm) and rear(220mm) which gives the bikes performance with better stability and excellent braking confidence and comfort for driving. It has telescopic fork suspension at front and monoshock suspension at rear and a twin tubular frame which increases stability of the bike. The cbr 150r has a Y shaped headlight, short muffler of pentagonal shape, digital meter and sporty design with dual layered full body cowling which helps to improve in aerodynamics and performance of the bike which gives a sporty look.

About the mileage those who love to have a powerful and stylish bike will not bother for mileage but it may give 35kmpl. Anyway we should wait for it to have on real road conditions for both highway and city also and it will suit the Indian conditions.

The Honda cbr 150r will be available in two variants

1.Standard version- (Black with Pearl Sunbeam White and Sports Red with Pearl Sunbeam White).

2.Deluxe version- (Black with Candy Palm Green & Vibrant Orange with Pearl Sunbeam White colour).

The Honda cbr 150r will be a value for money as it is expected in the range of 1.20lakhs (may vary according to locations) and deluxe version will be little higher due to its special sporty design. When Honda cbr 150r hits on Indian roads it will be the most stylish and lovable bike in 150cc segment which make a great competiton with Yamaha, hero, bajaj etc. Honda cbr 150r will be a true racing sensation.
